Glenn’s teachings will have a major emphasis on the life and contributions of the Prophet Joseph Smith. We will begin our fantastic Church History Tour in Susquehanna, PA. We continue to Palmyra, the Sacred Grove, and the Hill Cumorah. We will then follow the legacy- rich path of the saints from Palmyra to Kirtland, on to Independence, Far West, Adam-ondi-Ahman, Liberty Jail and then finally Nauvoo and Carthage. We will not be traveling by wagon train, we are going to fly from Kirtland to Independence. Flying removes two full days of traveling by bus and two months if traveling by wagon! In addition, we are the only ones that have Special Educators in each area to enhance your spiritual experience. All of our Special Educators are experienced tour directors, renowned authors and highly sought after guest lecturers and fireside speakers.

Itinerary
Important Note: We have listed many of the important sites we will be experiencing on this special tour. This list should only be considered a partial list as our educators and escorts will add special experiences and sites not listed in our day by day itinerary. This itinerary is subject to change.
Day 1 – May 7: Today we will start our fantastic church history tour by flying to Philadelphia PA where we will overnight. (Transfers are included if you booked our group airfare or your flight arrives on or before and departs on or after our group flights.)
Day 2 – May 8: Since we are so close to so many wonderful historical sites we are going to spend the day around Philadelphia. Today we will explore Independence National Historic Park. We will start the day with a Constitutional walking tour in Independence Square. Also today we will visit the birth place of our nation Independence Hall. The Declaration of Independence and Constitution were both debated and signed within Independence Hall. You will have free time to visit the Liberty Bell on your own. We will also tour inside the National Constitution Center which is an interactive museum dedicated to the history of our Constitution and the Bill of Rights. We overnight Philadelphia again.
Day 3 – May 9: Today we will travel approximately 3 hours to Susquehanna, PA where we will visit the newly dedicated Priesthood Restoration Site. We will visit the baptismal site of Joseph Smith and Oliver Cowdery. We will visit the home of Isaac & Elizabeth Hale and also Joseph & Emma. We will also see the grave sites of the Hales and Alvin Smith (Joseph Smiths oldest son). This is a wonderful brand new site that was just recently opened. We will then travel towards Palmyra where we will overnight.
Day 4 & 5 – May 10 & 11: Today we will travel into Palmyra New York where we will have a full day visiting all of the Church History sites. Over the next 2 days we will visit sites that will include: The Joseph Smith Sr. home, the Sacred Grove, the Hill Cumorah, the Grandin Printing Complex (where the first Books of Mormon were printed) and the Peter Whitmer farm in Fayette (where the Church was organized). We will then transfer to our hotel and overnight.
Day 6 – May 12: This morning we will start our drive to Kirtland, Ohio. On our way to Kirtland enjoy the majestic Niagara Falls. There will be plenty of free time to enjoy the Falls and maybe even take a ride on the “Maid of the Mist” boat that takes you to the base of the Falls. We will spend the night in Kirtland.
Day 7 – May 13: Today we have a full day visiting all of the important sites around Kirtland including: The Kirtland Temple, the Newel K. Whitney Store (School of the Prophets), the Morley Farm, the New LDS Visitor Center and more.
Day 8 – May 14: This morning WE FLY to Independence, Missouri Area. The Saints went by wagon train. Other tours go by bus, but we are going by airplane. Over the next 2 days we will visit the following sites. We will visit Independence including the Independence Visitor Center and Temple Mount, Independence, Far West, Liberty Jail, Adam-ondi-Ahman and more.
Day 9 – May 15: Today we will finish any missed sites around the Independence and Liberty Jail area.
Day 10 – May 16: This morning we will travel to Nauvoo, where we will have time to do an overview of the city before getting settled into your hotel.
Day 11 – May 17: Today we have a full day in Nauvoo. You will have time for a Temple session in the Nauvoo Temple, if open and available. You will have time to see many of the restored buildings of (Old Nauvoo) and Church History sites. You will also have time to walk the Trail of Hope, where the saints crossed the Mississippi to head west.
Day 12 – May 18: Today we visit the Carthage Jail where the Prophet and his brother were martyred. This afternoon we travel to the airport for your flight home. You cannot catch a flight until after 5:30pm. (Transfers are included if you booked our group airfare or your flight arrives on or before and departs on or after our group flights.)
