A tour to the Baltic States of Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, and Poland has only been offered once before and it sold out. Everyone and we do mean everyone that went was amazed at how wonderful this tour was. Each day topped the day before. You will enjoy castles, walled cities, ancient towns filled with a rich and tragic history. We promise this will be a tour that will make lifetime memories. Until recently this part of the world was under the rule of the Russians. Many of these countries have far exceeded Russia when it comes to progress.

Estonia: The Walled City of Tallin, Dadriorg Park laid out by Peter the Great in 1718 and the Kadriorg Palace. The Estonian Countryside.
Latvia: The old city of Riga, Sigulda in the beautiful mountains with Turaida Castle and Sigulda Castle.
Lithuania: Lithuania Countryside, Trakai Historical National Park, Castle, and Lake Vilnius.
Poland: Warsaw’s Old Town (a UNESCO World Heritage site), Royal Park, Castle Lazienki, many UNESCO World Heritage sites in Krakow, Auschwitz and Birkenau Concentration Camps.

Day 1: June 3: Fly to Munich
We depart our home and travel to Munich.
Day 2: June 4: Munich
After arriving into Munich we will do a city tour. Overnight Munich.
Day 3: June 5: Munich – Salzburg
This morning we will drive 2 hours to Salzburg, Austria. We will spend the time touring Salzburg. While in Salzburg you may feel as if you have slipped into “The Sound Of Music.” Late this afternoon we will drive back to Munich.
Day 4: June 6: Munich – Oberammergau
This morning we will travel into the German Alps. We plan, if possible to visit Neuschwanstein Castle, which was the inspiration for Disney’s “Sleeping Beauty Castle.” Then we will go to Oberammergau where you will be able to have some free time to explore this quaint village. Later this afternoon we will check into our 4-star deluxe Passion Play Hotel. NOTE: Our Passion Play Hotels are in the Oberammergau area. They can be in the Oberammergau Village or other villages nearby. For those staying in the villages close by, from what we have been told, they will be running shuttle buses from the different villages to the Oberammergau Village and back.
Day 5: June 7: Oberammergau
This morning you can take one of the shuttle buses into Oberammergau. This afternoon will be the first half of the Passion Play. Then there will be a break for dinner, which is included. After, you will return for the second half of the Passion Play. Late this evening you will return back to your hotel.
Day 6: June 8: Oberammergau – Krakow
Today we will drive to Munich Airport to fly to Krakow. Upon arrival, we will visit Oskar Schindler’s Factory before going to our hotel.
Day 7: June 9: Auschwitz and Birkenau
Located approximately 2 ½ hours out of Krakow are the infamous concentration camps. We will spend the day visiting the Memorial at the Auschwitz-Birkenau Concentration Camps. Later in the afternoon, we will return to our hotel.
Day 8: June 10: Krakow
Today we will be visiting the historical UNESCO World Heritage sites in Krakow. Including the Historic Centre of Krakow and the Wieliczka Salt Mine.
Day 9: June 11: Krakow – Warsaw
This morning we will take a high-speed train to Warsaw. Upon arrival, we will do a city tour.
Day 10: June 12: Warsaw
One of the highlights will be a tour of Warsaw’s Old Town which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. We will also visit the Royal Park & Castle Lazrenki. We will then finish with a city tour of Warsaw before heading back to our hotel.
Day 11: June 13: Warsaw – Vilnius, Lithuania
This morning we will fly from Warsaw to Vilnius, Lithuania. Upon arrival, we will do a city tour of Vilnius. We will then do a walking tour of the old town before going to our hotel.
Day 12: June 14: Vilnius – Riga
This morning will be an early departure for Riga, Latvia. We will drive through the countryside to the very beautiful Trakai Historical National Park, Castle, and Lake. Afterward, we will continue to Riga, Latvia.
Day 13: June 15: Riga
We will have a full-day tour that will include a drive into the beautiful mountains near Riga to Sigulda. We will visit Turaida Castle and the old Sigulda Castle. In the afternoon we will return to visit the old town of Riga.
Day 14: June 16: Riga – Tallinn
This morning we will drive around 4-5 hours to get to Tallin, Estonia. Upon arrival, we will do a city tour before transferring to our hotel.
Day 15: June 17: Tallinn
Today we will have a full day tour which will include the park and the seaside area of Kadriorg and Pirita. The Kadriorg Park was laid out by Peter the Great in 1718. We will also do a city tour visiting the old and new sections of Tallinn. Much of the ancient city wall is still intact along with much of the old city.
Day 16: June 18: Fly Home
Today we will return to the US.
