We are teaming up with the company we charter our trains through in Africa and Asia. We have a wonderful charter cruise to offer in 2025: We spend 3 nights on a Maldives island in an overseas cabana – the cruise will travel through the Maldives and the Seychelles Islands. Jim and Carol Tyndall, owners of Fun For Less Tours are going to be on the tour and cruise. They invite you to join them. Our quaint cruise ship holds a total of 96 passengers. With its smaller size, it is able to get into areas and ports the big ships can’t enter.

Special Ship Charter Details:

  • The Maldives and the Seychelles Cruise: Depart February 28 for the Maldives, upon arrival stay 3 nights in the fantastic Sheraton Maldives Island with cabanas over the ocean. On March 3 set sail visiting 3 additional Maldives Islands before heading to the Seychelles Islands. Where you will visit 7 additional Islands before heading home.
  • One of the best airfares at great pricing is Emirates Airline – often winning the prize for the best airline in the world. Right now, Emirates Airlines is considered to be the 4th best airline in the world. Most of our U.S. airlines can’t even make it into the top 50. Emirates is not only quality, it is cost-effective and also gives you a chance to have a stopover in Dubai for a few nights on your way home. Everyone loves Dubai.

Itinerary: This chartered ship itinerary is new with our partners and the actual shore excursions are not fully developed.  What is most important – all of the shore excursions are included.  Right now, our day by day itinerary only reflects what islands we will be on which day.  At times you will see we will be visiting more than one island in a day.

Group Airfare:  We will likely put our group airfare with Emirates Airlines, considered one of the best airlines in the world.  For less than what most airlines will charge, flying into the Maldives and home from the Seychelles, we believe we can get an airfare package that would involve flying first into Dubai, then flying to the Maldives and then from the Seychelles back to Dubai and then from Dubai back to the U.S.  This itinerary would allow a stop in Dubai both going and coming, breaking up the flights and letting our passenger enjoy the wonders of Dubai.

Cabin sizes and upgrade opportunities:  Possible upgrades and pricing: 

  • Superior Staterooms on Deck 4: (This category has 2 larger portholes or some windows.)  Upgrade Price $390 per person.
  • Deluxe Staterooms on Deck 5: (This category is on the same level as restaurant, lounge etc. Most are 170 to 180 Square feet with two windows & no portholes.)  Upgrade Price $990 per person.
  • Suite Staterooms on Deck 6:  (This category is approximately 240 Square Feet with 3 windows.)  Upgrade Price $1,890 per person.
  • Serenissima Suite Staterooms on Deck 7:  (This category is on top of the ship, largest cabins. Approximately 280 square feet with two large windows.) Upgrade price $2,990 per person.
  • Owner’s Suite Staterooms on Deck :  (This category is up front of the ship with private walk way on front of ship for viewing.  Approximately 245 square feet with 6 or 7 windows.)  Upgrade price $2,590 per person.

Day by Day-by-Day itinerary: Always subject to change.

Note: Emirates Airlines airfare package would Involve 4 flights: LAX to Dubai – Dubai to the Maldives – the Seychelles to Dubai and Dubai back to LAX. It also allows breaking up the flights with the ability to stay in Dubai both going and returning – breaking up the long flights into lesser segments spread out.

Note: The price of the group airfare, along with the pricing for the nights in Dubai, will not be known until 9 months before when airfare becomes open for bookings. At that time, you can choose to fly with Emirates Airline, with the group or arrange your own airfare into the Maldives and home from the Seychelles.

The Day By Day
Note: The itinerary below uses Emirates Airlines expected group flight schedule. You are free to do your own flights into the Maldives and home from the Seychelles.

Day 1: February 26: Fly Emirates Airline 3:35pm LAX to Dubai.

Day 2: February 27: Arrive Dubai at 7:30pm.  (Optional additional Cost of an Airport hotel in Dubai.  It is not included on the tour).

Day 3: February 28: Dubai – after a good night’s sleep Fly 10:15am from Dubai to the Maldives arriving 3:30pm – Transfer by Boat to your luxurious overwater cabana’s with a private swimming pool. Dinner is included at your private island resort.

Day 4: March 1: Maldives
Free day to enjoy your island resort.  Includes Breakfast and Dinner.

Day 5: March 2: Maldives
 Free Day to enjoy your island resort.  Includes Breakfast and Dinner.

Day 6: March 3: Male Maldives
Mid-day, we will transfer by boat to our private small ship located in Male, Maldives. Dinner is included.

Note: We know the days the ship will be in ports in the Maldives and the Seychelles, but the full shore excursions THAT WILL BE INCLUDED will not be known until we are about 6 months before departure. Below is the ship schedule:

Fly from Mahe to Dubai if you are flying on Emirates Airlines. You will have two choices if flying Emirates Airlines: Overnight with optional hotel for one night and then fly home on Day 16 March 13 from Dubai OR take the optional 3-night extension and fly home on Day 18, March 15. (This flight is not included in the tour price.  It is part of the international flight package.  Dubai overnight hotel option or 3 nights dubai option are not included in tour price.)
