Take the June 19, 2025 cruise to Alaska first – you’re going to love it so much you will want to return to the January 17, 2026.
If you haven’t experienced Dr. Matt’s masterful mix of entertainment, fun, laughter and education, you have been missing out! As a world-class educator and humorist, you will literally laugh your way to a healthier and deeper love. Dr. Matt will take his 25-plus years of experience educating couples to help you address some of the biggest threats to relationships today. Many of our past groups have been made up of parents bringing their married children. It didn’t matter the age, or the amount of time married – ALL have raved about how much they and their children loved the vacation and the life-changing information on marriage that Matt shared with them. On both cruises, Matt is planning on holding a workshop at the hotel in the morning before transferring to the cruise of your choice. He will have additional workshops during your days at sea, along with possibly a lecture when you don’t have a full day in a port of call.

Itinerary
Day 1: June 19: Fly to Seattle
Today you fly from your homes to Seattle Airport. Tonight is a free night. (Transfers are included if you booked our group airfare or your flight arrives on or before and departs on or after our group flights.)
Day 2: June 20: Seattle – Board Ship in Seattle
This morning before driving to board your wonderful cruise ship, Matt will have a wonderful “Take Your Love to a Higher Level” workshop.
Day 3: June 21: Fun Day at Sea
Today you will have plenty of time to experience and enjoy your wonderful Royal Caribbean Ship, along with enjoying another “Take Your Love to a Higher Level” workshop.
Note: We have three ports of call that include your shore excursions. Depending on timing, during one of the three days, we will likely have another of Matt’s workshops. The timing of the additional workshop will be announced while on your cruise.
Day 4: June 22: Juneau, Alaska
We have included a Juneau shore excursion. Today your Mendenhall Glacier/city highlights tour & whale watch combo shore excursion is included with your complete package. We will begin with a narrated bus tour of historical Juneau with experienced guides. Learn history, development, and colorful local lore! See downtown Juneau, Mendenhall Glacier, University of Alaska, and more. We will spend 45 minutes exploring the Glacier area. (This price does not include the $3.00 per person cost if you would like to go into the Visitor Center). Next we continue to the beautiful Auke Bay (about 15 minutes north of Juneau). Auke Bay is positioned just about 30 minutes from some of the best feeding grounds for the endangered humpback whale. Humpback whales are most prevalent in the bay, however Orca (killer whales) are often sighted. The jet powered boats get in as close as possible to these gentle giants and then turn off the engines to allow for pictures and more serene experience. You may also view variety of other wildlife such as the harbor seal, bald eagles, stellar sea lions, Dalls porpoises as well as a wide variety of sea birds. We have done this tour many times over the past years with much success; we have never done a tour without seeing several whales. However please remember that these are wild animals and there is no guarantee that you will see any wildlife.
Day 5: June 23: Skagway, Alaska
We have included a Skagway shore excursion. Today your Great Frontier shore excursion is included with your complete package. We will relive the days of the Gold Rush in one of our most popular excursions. Exciting points of interest and captivating tales are captures in this intriguing tour of Skagway and its “gold rush” folklore. Our knowledgeable guides have been recognized for their interesting narrative and friendliness. Witness spectacular scenery encountered as you travel up the Klondike Highway to White Pass Summit. This tour runs parallel to the White Pass & Yukon Railroad route providing fascinating sights of the “Trail of ‘98”, Pitchfork Falls, and traversing the unique Moore Creek Bridge. Everyone enjoys the advantage of actually being able to stop at the numerous “photo ops” and breathtaking mountain passes. We will also tour downtown Skagway, visit the Gold Rush Cemetery, as well as a stop at the Skagway Overlook. Please remember to take plenty of film for this most scenic tour “up north”. Please note: Because we go over onto the Canadian side everyone on this tour must have a passport with them.
Day 6: June 24: Endicott Arm & Dawes Glacier
Today we will sail through Endicott Arm and see Dawes Glacier. This afternoon you will have plenty of time to experience and enjoy your wonderful Royal Caribbean Ship, along with enjoying another “Take Your Love to a Higher Level” workshop.
Day 7: June 25: Fun Day at Sea
Today you will have plenty of time to experience and enjoy your wonderful Royal Caribbean Ship, along with enjoying another “Take Your Love to a Higher Level” workshop.
Day 8: June 26: Victoria, British Columbia
We have included a Victoria shore excursion. We begin with a city tour of Victoria. Later we will visit Butchart Gardens. In 1904 Robert Butchart developed a limestone quarry and cement plant on Vancouver Island to satisfy the demand for cement from San Francisco to Victoria. Eventually the limestone was depleted and his wife Jennie began to turn the exhausted pit into the spectacular gardens we see today. We then return back to our wonderful ship.
Day 9: June 27: Seattle– Fly home
This morning we will depart our ship in Seattle and transfer to the Seattle airport for our return flight home. We will be taking with us, the many memories we have experienced together as couples and the knowledge of how we can “Take Our Love to a Higher Level”.
