Western Caribbean "Land Cruise" Tour Itinerary
Note: (B-breakfast, L-lunch, D-dinner)

Day 1 & 2: June 25 & 26: Fly from US to Cancun: Relax and enjoy (B,L,D)
Upon arrival to Cancun we will depart for you’re “all inclusive“beach hotel. This resort has all the amenities you could hope for. All your food and beverages including all drinks are included, unlike on a cruise ship where drinks are extra. Included with your hotel are Hobie Cat sailing lessons and free use of the sailing boat after your lessons, free introductory scuba lesson, free snorkeling gear, dance lessons, cooking classes, the list goes on. Large and beautiful swimming pools, stage shows each night, (an 18 hole championship golf course and motorized toys are extra). It has the most incredible private white sand beach and the second longest barrier reef in the world, excellent for snorkeling and scuba diving. These are your “Land Cruise Days at Sea”. Your hotel is located in the exclusive gated community of Playacar, just minutes to the seaside resort town of Playa Del Carmen.

Day 3 & 4: June 27 & 28: Playa del Carmen – Cozumel (B,L,D)
Today is a free day to do whatever you want. You can shop next door in Playa del Carmen, or take the high speed ferry over to Cozumel. You can visit Xcaret or Aukamul, or go cave diving in a nearby Cenote. Play golf or go horseback riding, deep sea fishing or parasailing. The list of activities is almost endless in this land of 1000 pyramids. Tomorrow you can do it all again, or simply loose yourself in a book on the beach under your favorite palm tree.

Day 5: June 29: Tulum, Coba and Mayaland Hotel (B,D)
Today after breakfast we will check out of our hotel and travel down the coast to the ancient Mayan City of Tulum. This beautiful walled city was built on cliffs overlooking the blue green waters of the Yucatan Caribbean. Be sure to have explained to you the significance of the Descending God above the temple door and the special date evidenced by a solar event at this site. From here we will travel to ancient ruins deep in the Yucatan jungle. Only recently restored, these ruins will amaze and enthrall your senses with possibilities of Nephite and Lamanite stories. Our travels this day will end at our incredible jungle hotel. This Spanish colonial style hotel is situated on 100 acres of lush tropical gardens and covered by a forest canopy of 500 year old trees.

Day 6: June 30: Mayaland hotel and Chichen Itza (B)
Today after breakfast we will enter the park of Chichen Itza through our own private hotel entrance. This allows us to come and go at our leisure. After our formal guided tour of the main structures and visit to the spectacular pyramid of Kukulcan you may return to the hotel for lunch and a refreshing swim in one of the 3 swimming pools on the property. With your full day pass you can re-enter the park to see more of this overwhelming archeological site or for a fee, take a horseback ride to the first city of Chichen Itza deep in the jungle, that dates back to 100 BC. Tonight we will re-enter the park for a night time light show presentation on the grounds. (Note: if you wish to hear the show in English there is a $3.00 dollar receiver fee).

Day 7: July 01: Mayaland Hotel – Cancun (B)
After breakfast we will check out of the hotel and board our bus for the return trip to the Cancun Airport and our flight back to the US.
