This is one tour that will cover the best of both worlds, a complete tour of Turkey & Greece, along with the New Testament travels of Paul and the Apostles.

This is the 2^nd Holy Land, after the death of Christ most of the New Testament was written in Turkey and Greece or was written to the churches in Turkey and Greece. All four of Paul’s Missions involved Turkey. You will be in areas that involve the book of Acts, Corinthians, Galatians, Colossians, Ephesians, Revelations, 1^st Timothy and 2^nd Timothy. As you visit these areas, Dr. Wilcox will help you understand and appreciate all that was happening to the Apostles.

Dr. Wilcox will also be covering the history of the area along with explaining about the many sites you will be visiting. You will see and experience some of the best sites and ruins in the world.

Day by Day Itinerary

Pre Day 1: May 11:

Any passengers who purchased Fun For Less airfare from JFK or SLC will fly into JFK today and overnight in JFK airport hotel.

Day 1: May 12: Fly to Athens

Fly from the JFK, New York to Athens Greece

Day 2: May 13: Athens – Corinth

Morning arrival into Athens. Our tour today will include the ancient city of Corinth and the Corinth Canal. We will overnight in Athens

Day 3: May 14: Athens

This morning we will tour the Acropolis of Athens, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and Mars hill. You will also enjoy a city tour and a visit to the Olympic sites. You will have time to explore the old town and shop before returning to your hotel in Athens.

Day 4: May 15: Athens - Istanbul

This morning we take a short flight to Istanbul. Our tour today will include the magnificent Hagia Sofia, Hippodrome and the stadium of ancient Byzantium, where an Egyptian obelisk and bronze sculpture of the entwined serpents from Delphi still survive. We then continue on to the Blue Mosque which owes its name to the exquisite tiles adorning its interior. In the afternoon we will visit the amazing Topkapi Palace, which from the 15th to the 19th Century was the principle residence of the Ottoman Sultans. Overnight Istanbul

Day 5: May 16: Istanbul

We will start the day with a boat ride on the Bosporus, the water that separates Asia from Europe. We will be using a private ship so we can sail it all the way to the Black Sea. Istanbul is both in Asia and Europe. This afternoon we will finish our tour of Istanbul. You We overnight Istanbul

Day 6: May 17: Istanbul - Cappadocia

You will have plenty of time to shop for those important turkey souvenirs as we will spend the morning in the Grand Bazaar. The Grand Bazaar is a gigantic flee market of shops that is a shoppers dream come true. This afternoon we will fly to Cappadocia

Day 7: May 18: Cappadocia

Today will be a highlight day as we explore the amazing mystical landscapes around Cappadocia. We experience the ancient underground cities of Kaymakli, Guverclnlik and Devrent Vallesy. We will also visit the natural rock castle at Uchisar; Avanos and Pasabaglari and the beautiful open-air museums at Zelve and Goreme. The remains of churches and Christian settlements date back thousands of years. This is a place where you simply let your mind wander and be amazed at the history and beauty of the region. Day 8: May 19: Cappadocia - Konya

This morning we will finish our tour of the Cappadocia area and then make our way to the city of Konya, where we visit the Mevlana Museum and the tomb of Mevlana, the founder of the mystical Whirling Dervishes, Karatay Medrese and the Ince Minare, now a museum. We will overnight in Konya.

Day 9: May 20: Konya - Pamukkale

We will continue or travel through Turkey to Pamukkale. Here we will discover the ancient tourist resort of Asia Minor, Hieraplis. Hierapolis was the ancient city located on top of the Pamukkale - the world famous snow-white terraced hot springs. Hierapolis is a UNESCO World Heritage site. For those that want we will have time to take soak in the many hot springs before going to our Resort/Spa hotel just below the springs.

Day 10: May 21: Aphrodisias - Kusadasi

This morning we will drive to Aphrodisias to explore the remains of the city where there was a school of sculpture in ancient times. We also visit the stadium and the temple of Aphrodite. Late this afternoon we will arrive in Kusadasi near to Ephesus. Overnight Kusadasi

Day 11: May 22: Kusadasi

Our beautiful hotel is located right on the beach. Today will be a day to enjoy a walking tour of Kusadasi, shopping in the Kusadasi Bazar and time to relax at your fantastic beach resort hotel. Overnight Kusadasi

Day 12: May 23: Kusadasi – Patmos

This morning we will take our private ship to the Greek Island of Patmos for the full day. This is the island of Revelations and John the Revelator. We will return in the evening back to Kusadasi to overnight.

Day 13: May 24: Ephesus – Istanbul

Today is another highlight day as we visit Ephesus and the surrounding area. We will start with the house of the Virgin Mary on top of Bulbul Mountain and the proceed to the ancient city of Ephesus where you will explore some of the best preserved theaters, fountains and buildings found any where in the world. Late this afternoon we will fly to Istanbul to overnight before our flight home.

Day 14: May 25: Fly Home

This Morning you will transfer to the airport for you flight back to the US & home
