Square.
Day 4: Beijing:
(B,L,D)

to the Great Wall. An extraordinary 4,000 mile long fortification
built to thwart the barbarian invasions. A walk along the
enormous towered and turreted wall is spectacular. Afterwards
a short drive takes us to a beautiful tree and statue lined
walk along the Ming Tomb area. We will then head to the Summer
Palace (the summer residence of China’s Emperors).
Day 5: Beijing:
(B,L,D)
This morning we will visit the Temple of Heaven. We will then

evening we will enjoy a special Peking Duck Dinner.
Day 6: Beijing
– Fly to Xian: (B,L,D)
We will take a early morning flight to Xian and spend the
day visiting the Terracotta Warriors, one of the world’s
great archeological treasures. We will also visit the Wild
Goose Pagoda. Xian is the capitol of 11 dynasties and one
of the largest medieval cities in the world., The entire city
of Xian is enclosed by a huge city wall that still has its
moat and draw bridges in place. We will visit this wall. This
evening we will attend one of the best cultural shows you
will see anywhere in the world – The Tang Dynasty Dinner
and Cultural Show. This fantastic show is full of music, dance
and colorful traditional costumes.

Museum. Early afternoon we will board our 5 star ship located

the way to visit a local school and other wonderful sites.

the Yangtze River and the Three Gorges: (B,L,D)
Our day starts with a tour of the largest man made dam in
the world, “Three Gorges Dam.” After your tour
of this mind-boggling dam you will begin your cruise on the
Yangtze River. Spectacular, unique, mystic and magical are
the adjectives describing the magnificent scenery along the
Three Gorges. Enter Xiling Gorge with its dramatic shoals
and verdant 3,000 foot cliffs. Twisting towering beauty unfolds
on a monumental scale, equal to the Grand Canyon.
Day 10: Cruise
the Yantze River and the Three Lesser Gorges: (B,L,D)
Full day by small sampan boats through the Three Lesser Gorges.
We view the exquisite peaks, grotesquely shaped rocks and
silvery waterfalls fo the Three Lesser Gorges. Fantastically
shaped rocks create a strangely beautiful setting in the Misty
Gorge, where the coffins of the Ba Tribe hang in caves on
a sheer 1500 foot cliff. Late in the afternoon we will visit
the Qutang Gorge, which is the grandest of them all.
Day 11: Cruising
the Yangtze: (B,L,D)
We continue our travels through the magnificent Yangtze with
a special stop to visit one of the most beautiful caves in
the world. We will board busses off the Yangtze and travel into canyons to visit a cave that was recently discovered, and only became
available to visit in the last two years. The drive to the
cave is wonderful and the cave is fantastic.
Day 12: Dazu
and Chongqing: (B,L,D)
This morning we will disembark our five star cruise ship.
We will then drive back into the mountains to visit the special
stone carvings of Dazu. Here monks have been carving life
size stone carvings for almost 2,000 years. There are 60,000
of them! Most of our passengers have liked this site as well
or better than the Terracotta Warriors in Xian. Today we will
also stop at a farming community out in the country to see
what rural farm life is really like.
