Day by Day Itinerary:
Day to Day Itinerary: This is a partial list,
and subject to change as needed to accomplish everything we can
in each area we visit. We will have local guides who will make sure
we see the very best in the time we have.
Day 1: May
10: Fly to Berlin
Day 2: May 11: Early
morning into Berlin. We will visit the elegant Ku-Damm, Reichstag,
monumental Brandenburg Gate and Charlottenburg Palace.
Day 3: May 12: Travel
to the Czech Republic and Prague. Today we will start our tour of
Prague, considered the most attractive European Capital.
Day 4: May 13: Full
day tour of Prague – to include the 1,000 year old Hradcany
Caslte, St. Vitus Cathedral, the Old Town, the Jewish Ghetto and
the Astronomical Clock – once the envy of all Europe.
Day 5: May 14: Finish
our tour of Prague and then in the afternoon we will travel to Bratislava,
Slovakia.
Day 6: May 15: After
a morning tour of Bratislava, the capitol of Slovakia, we will continue
our travel through the countryside to Budapest Hungary.
Day 7: May 16: Full
day tour of Budapest that includes the 13th century Matthias Coronation
Church, the Citadel on Mount Gellert and Heroes Square.
Day 8: May 17: Today
we will travel to Vienna, where we will start our tour. Vienna was
once the center of the mighty Hapsburg Empire.
Day 9: May 18: Between
the two days we will visit the Prater amusement park, a walking
tour of the Old Town, St. Stephen’s Cathedral and Schonbrunn
Palace.
Day 10: May 19: We
will travel to Salzburg for a full day tour of Mozart’s home
town, Mirabell Gardens, St. Peters Churchyard where Sound of Music
was filmed.
Day 11: May 20: Today
we will visit Europe’s premier attraction, Neuschwanstein
Castle, possibly the most beautiful Castle in the world. We will
also visit Oberammergau the home of the Passion Play and enjoy their
devotion to the colorful paintings on their houses. You will love
the beauty of the Bavarian Alps.
Day 12: May 21: Today we will
tour Munich with its Olympic Stadium, Nymphenburg Palace, Marienplatz
and the old town.
Day 13: May 22: We
will travel from the Bavarian Alps into the Swiss Alps. We will
pay a visit to Liechtenstein, on to the walled city of Rapperswil
and then to Zurich.
