Day by Day Itinerary

Day 1 May 17:
Fly from the US to Cairo, Egypt
Day 2 May 18:
Cairo, Egypt
Arrive mid day into Cairo and start your tour. Over the next
two days your tour will include the Great Pyramids, the Cairo
Museum with King Tut's treasures, the Hanging Church and more.
Overnight at our five star hotel.
Day 3 May 19: Cairo,
Egypt
Continue tour of sites around Cairo. Tonight you will take
an evening flight to Nairobi, Kenya.

Day 4 May 20:
Nairobi - Mountain Lodge
Early morning arrival into Jomo Kenyatta International Airport
where we will start your safari to the central part of Kenya.
We will immediately travel to the Mountain Lodge which is
famous for a local water hole where animals come to drink
water during the day. We will enjoy dinner and overnight stay
at our lodge.

Day 5 May 21:
Mountain Lodge - Samburu National Park
After breakfast depart for Northern Kenya to Samburu where
we will be passing through the equator arriving in good time
for lunch at your lodge in Samburu. We will spend this afternoon
in seach of the elusive leopard, lion, elephants, gerunuk,
grevy zebra, reticulated giraffe, oryx and many others. Samburu
Game Reserve is situated in a semi arid area. We will enjoy
dinner this evening and overnight stay at our local lodge.

Day 6 May 22:
Samburu National Park
After breakfast you will proceed for a game drive in the morning
and also in the afternoon. You will have dinner and overnight
at our lodge.

Day 7 May 23:
Samburu National Park - Lake Nakuru
After breakfast depart for Lake Nakuru National Park arriving
in good time for lunch at your Lake Nakuru Lodge. Afternoon
game drive in the park and around this lake that is famous
for it's large concentration of pink flamingoes and other
birdlife. Here you have wonderful opportunities for color
photography as masses of pink bodies glide above the reflection
of blue water. This is considered to be the first rhino sanctuary
for both the black and white species. You should have a chance
to see many species including reedbuck, bushbuck, warthog,
leopard, baboon and giraffe. You will have dinner and overnight
stay at our lodge.

Day 8 May 24:
Lake Nakuru National Park - Massai Mara Game Reserve
After breakfast depart to the famous drive through the spectacular
Great Rift Valley and then via Narok town, you will travel
to the Massai Mara Game Reserve. This is considered to be one
of Kenya's most precious wildlife sanctuaries. This is a big
game country and long famed as one of Africa's greatest concentrations
of plains game animals. Game can be found here in staggering
numbers, which in turn supports a tremendous predator population.
We will be arriving in good time for lunch at the lodge. During
your afternoon game drive you should have an opportunity to
see herds of buffalo, lion, impala, giraffe, elephant, topi,
warthog, ostrich, cheetah, hyena, and many other types of animals.
You will have dinner and overnight at our lodge.

Day 9 May 25:
Massai Mara Game Reserve
Morning game drive in the reserve, driving across the Savannah.
You will have time to rendezvous with the Mara residents.
We will visit the Massai village, having a chance to see their
mode of living and what kind of food they eat. The Massai
perform a dance by lighting a fire using the the 14th centuries' old method, using sticks. Massai Mara is the northern-most
extremity of the great Serengeti ecosystem. Here black rhinos
browse among dense thorn bushes, and herds of giraffe and elephant
roam the woodlands. Large numbers of hippos gather and swim
in the Mara River. Boasting Kenya's largest predator population,
the reserve is renowned for its large lion prides. You will
finish today by spending the afternoon on a game drive looking
for the local animals. Tonight you will dream of all the wonders
of Africa and dinner and overnight stay at our lodge.

Day 10 May 26:
Massai Mara - Serengeti National Park
After breakfast we will depart for Tanzania via the Isebania border.
We will stop for a picnic lunch. After clearing through immigration
and customs we will continue our drive to the Serengeti National
Park in Tanzania. We will enjoy a game drive enroute to our
lodge.

Day 11 May 27:
Serengeti National Park
After breakfast we will enjoy a full day game drive in the
plains of the Serengeti National Park. We will return back
to our lodge and overnight.

Day 12 May 28:
Serengeti National Park - Ngorongoro Crater
After breakfast we will depart for Ngorongoro with a game
drive enroute arriving in good time for lunch. You will have
the afternoon at your leisure enjoying the magnificent view
of the Ngorongoro Crater. You will have dinner and overnight
at our lodge.

Day 13 May 29:
Ngorongoro Crater
After breakfast descend to the Crater floor for a full day gamedrive,
lunch at a hippo pool picnic site and ascend to the rim. Dinner
and overnight at our Lodge.

Day 14 May 30:
Ngorongoro - Nairobi
After breakfast we will drive to the Namanga Border. After clearing
with immigration and customs we wil proceed on to Nairobi. This evening
will be free time.

Day 15 May 31:
Nairobi
After breakfast you will be picked up from your hotel and
proceed for an excursion to the Karen Blixen Plantation (This is where the movie "Out
of Africa" was filmed). We will also having a chance to feed
Giraffes. This afternoon return back to your hotel for free
time.

Day 16 June 01:
Nairobi - Cairo
Early breakfast and transfer to Jomo Kenyatta International
Airport for our return flight back to Cairo. After arriving
into Cairo we will transfer to your 5 star-hotel for a relaxing
afternoon.

Cairo - USA
After breakfast you will transfer to the airport for your
return flight back home.
